Tasting notes

EYE
Rich golden color with orange highlights.

NOSE
Fresh apples, cinnamon and spice, with a hint of honey.

PALATE
Opulent, intense and complexly flavored; evocative of fine ice wines or Sauternes.
Its sweetness is exquisitely balanced by acidity that keeps it from being cloying and makes for a clean finish.

SERVING SUGGESTIONS
Serve well chilled (5°C). Enjoy as an aperitif, with foie gras, fine cheeses, a variety of desserts, or on its own to end a perfect meal.

Characteristics

Stunning richness
Incredible complexity... made from a blend of 6 varieties of apples
Exceptionally balanced... fresh apple taste with a sweet, smooth finish
A naturally made ice cider... without added sugar or alcohol

DAVID LAWRASON, TORONTO LIFE
92 points - Domaine's brilliant amber-coloured ice cider is a thick, sweet apple and caramel potion with vibrant acidity. Awesome with apple pie and aged cheddar.

GORD STIMMELL, TORONTO STAR
94 Points - ...the best cider in Canada... Utterly hedonistic... The sparkling equivalent is equally amazing.

NICK HAMILTON, EDITOR-IN-CHIEF, LA BARRIQUE MAGAZINE
90 Points - Excellent - Amber in colour with orange highlights. Apple and dry cider nose. Very good acidity, gentle yet persistent. A refreshing taste. Must be discovered.
