Ingredients
6 tbsp (90 ml) vegetable oil
1 tbsp (15 ml) nutmeg
1 tbsp (15 ml) allspice
2 tbsp (30 ml) Domaine Pinnacle Ice Cider
2 tsp (10 ml) maple syrup
2 cups (500 ml) pecans
Salt optional
Preparation
1. Heat the oil slowly, add the nutmeg, allspice and ice cider.
2. Let simmer 5 minutes.
3. Add maple syrup.
4. Remove from heat and add nuts.
5. Stir until mixture is well absorbed.
6. Spread the pecans on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
7. Place in a 300ºF (150ºC).
8. Turn oven off and let nuts dry completely.
9. Add salt to taste.
10. Store in an airtight jar.
